Steel scrap and non-ferrous metals
In 2008, Christian Heimberger laid the foundation for a successful company in the recycling industry with the establishment of AMH AltMetallhandel Heimberger. What began in a small garage with the trading of steel scrap and non-ferrous metals developed into a versatile and specialized recycling operation within a few years.
Computer scrap and electronic scrap
Through continuous expansion of the purchasing portfolio, investments in modern technologies, and the development of strategic partnerships, AMH was able to steadily expand its market position. This development laid the foundation for today’s ReRec GmbH, which continues the company tradition with modern recycling solutions.
Hard metals, special metals, and special alloys
In 2014, the company expanded its purchasing portfolio to include hard metals, special metals, and special alloys from the medical and dental technology sectors. This specialization was an important step towards more targeted and high-quality raw material recovery. The processing of these valuable materials required not only more precise analysis methods but also specialized expertise.
