Our history
Steel scrap and non-ferrous metals
In 2008, Christian Heimberger laid the foundations for a successful company in the recycling industry with the founding of AMH AltMetallhandel Heimberger. What began in a small garage with the trading of steel scrap and non-ferrous metals developed into a versatile and specialized recycling company within just a few years.
Computer scrap and electronic scrap
By continuously expanding its purchasing portfolio, investing in modern technologies and developing strategic partnerships, AMH has been able to steadily strengthen its market position. This development laid the foundation for today’s ReRec GmbH, which continues the company’s tradition with modern recycling solutions.
Hard metals, special metals and special alloys
In 2014, the company expanded its purchasing portfolio to include hard metals, special metals and special alloys from medical and dental technology. This specialization was an important step towards even more targeted and higher-quality raw material recovery.
Processing these valuable materials required not only more precise methods of analysis, but also specialized expertise.
